An aluminium foil layer is laminated to the inner wall, creating a high barrier against oxygen, light and moisture. Where a standard PE-coated bowl protects for days, a foil-lined structure is built for products that need weeks. All four capacities share the same 168 × 120 mm rim — one lid fits every size

FAQ

Can this bowl be microwaved?No. This bowl has an aluminium foil lining, and aluminium arcs in a microwave oven. It must never be placed in a microwave. If your product is reheated by the end consumer in a microwave, choose our PP-coated version instead.

Why choose foil lining over a standard PE coating?Foil gives a much higher barrier against oxygen, light and moisture, which supports a longer shelf life. Choose foil when shelf life or aroma retention matters more than microwave convenience.

Is it freezer safe?Yes. The structure is suitable for frozen distribution.

Do all four sizes use the same lid?Yes. All sizes share a 168 × 120 mm rim, so one PET, PP or paper lid fits the whole range.

Is this product recyclable or compostable?Foil-laminated paper requires specialised separation and is not accepted in standard paper recycling streams in most regions. It is not compostable. For compostable programmes, choose our PLA-lined version.

What is the shelf life extension compared to a PE-coated bowl?This depends on your product, fill process and storage conditions. Send us your product details and target shelf life and we will advise.
